- Q. なぜ外国人・帰国者を採用するのですか？
- 日本の生活文化は、急速に国際化しています。日本ならではの生活とグローバルに移動する人々の生活、これらは相反するものではなく、同時に満たされるべきだと考えています。だからこそ、海外の文化を知る方々にこそ、大いに活躍していただきたいと考えています。コミュニケーションのみでなく、モノづくりにおいても、新鮮な刺激を待っているのです。
- Q. Why does Space Design hire internationals and returnees?
- Japanese culture is experiencing rapid and sudden internationalization. We believe the unique experience of life in Japan and an active position in the global marketplace, do not contradict. In fact, we think both should be achieved simultaneously. It is here we discovery our obvious need for input from people who understand other cultures and have overseas experience. These members inspire us not only via their communication style but in the way they approach design and aesthetics as well.
- Q. 英語を使うことはありますか？
- 非常に多くの機会で英語を使います。当社の商品には海外からのお客様も多く、また海外の機関投資家へビルを売却するためのネゴシエーションなども行っています。ただし、「仕事をしながら覚えていく」ということで問題ありません。なお、社員の約1割は外国人です。
- Q. Is there much opportunity to use foreign languages at Space Design?
- There are frequent opportunities to use English at Space Design. We have a great number of clients who need English language support and we negotiate with numerous foreign investment firms when we begin the sales process on one of our buildings.
- Q. 外国人はどのような人たちがいるのですか？
- 現在は、アメリカ人、イギリス人などの人達が様々な仕事で活躍しています。
- Q. What kind of internationals work at Space Design Inc.?
- We currently have people from the USA, England, Portugal, Venezuela and China working at Space Design.
